Company Shipping Policy
IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot ship any John Deere, Feber Ride Ons, 30 and 40cm high plastic Chess sets via Overnight Express. Please do not select this shipping option - all orders will be shipped via regular services.
Due to the physical dimensions and weight of some of our products we endeavour to provide our customers with a variety of shipping solutions. Please note that in our shipping page some providers may not have an indicated price/quote. This will be due to the combination of products that you have selected exceeding the maximum or minimum dimensions for transport with that particular agent.
If no valid shipping option appears we will have to manually calculate the shippings costs for you. Please email sales@yardgames.com.au providing a list of the games required, your delivery country and postcode and contact details. We will provide you with a quote within 1 business day.
The company shall ship all goods within 1 business day of paid orders being received with the possible exception of the Teak chess sets 24inch in size and larger. Due to the nature of these products they may require special packaging to be constructed to enable delivery. If this is the case we will call the customer within 3 days of the order being placed and discuss possible solutions. If a delivery schedule cannot be agreed upon we will cancel the order and a full immediate refund will be provided.
In the rare situations where stock is not available for delivery for whatever reason we will call the customer and offer a full refund if an acceptable delivery date cannot be agreed upon.
The company uses third party providers for shipping and we do not accept any liability for damage and loss of goods on behalf of the partners. Insurance of goods in transit is not provided. If insurance is required please indicate in the comments box on the order completion form and we will call you back the next day with quotes.
Shipping times from Sydney vary between 1-7 days within Australia by road. Air freight can be arranged if specifically requested.
For Express orders placed before 1pm we will ship same day otherwise the order will be dispatched next day.
Company Refund and Returns Policy
All and any business undertaken by the Company shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this contract which are as follows:
Definitions ‘Company’ shall mean Yardgames, a trading name of ECOimports P/L ABN 59 111 432 100, Yardgames.com.au website and their employees, servants, agents, subsidiaries and associated entities.
‘Customer’ shall mean the retailer, wholesaler, distributor, consignor, the receiver, the consignee, the owner of the Goods, the bailor of the Goods or the person for whom any other Services are performed.
‘Goods’ shall mean the products, articles or things tendered for sale by the Company and shall include the container or containers, packaging containing the same and any other pallet or pallets delivered with the same to the Customer.
Samples policy for Giant Chess Pieces.
Our policy is as follows:
Customer to purchase the sample pieces and pay for shipping to home address.
If the quality is satisfactory ( and we are definitely sure it will be !!! ) then the cost of the samples will be deducted from the price of the full set.
For example, if you order a queen and knight at a total cost of $290 and then proceed with purchasing a full set, we will send you a complete set excluding the samples ordered and deduct $290 from that cost of that set.
If the quality is unsatisfactory then on receipt of the original samples back at our warehouse, in the same condition as we sent them, we will immediately send a cheque refunding the $290 or whatever the cost of samples.
If the customer wants to retain ownership of the sample pieces then no further action needs to be taken. If we have not heard from the customer within 28 days of the pieces leaving our warehouse we shall assume that customer has retained ownership and has no interest in purchasing a complete set. After 28 days there will be no deductions allowed for any further purchases or refunds given for any returns.
Due to the complex nature of these transactions the purchase of a full set will have to be undertaken by email/phone or fax and not via the website. This policy is also limited too two sample pieces only.
Refund Policy for Goods Returns Policy only applies to products sold by ECO Imports P/L on Yardgames.com.au. It does not apply to products sold by third parties, where third parties may be retailers, wholesalers or other merchants. These third parties are responsible for all faults and returns of goods.
Returns are simple and easy.
All ECO Imports P/L supplied products, purchased from ECO Imports P/L directly are warranted for 30 days from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defects. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from ECO Imports P/L. Normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, abuse, alteration to the product, own repairs or negligence is not covered under ECO Imports P/L Warranty Policies. Misuse, unauthorized/own repairs, abuse or alteration of product voids warranty. Manufacturer’s defects will be determined by ECO Imports P/L.
How To Make A Warranty Claim
Please telephone ECO Imports P/L Customer service at 1300 76 75 21 to receive a Warranty/Return ID and further instructions. Pack your product in a cardboard box and use a shipping service that offers both insurance and tracking to ensure a safe delivery of your product. ECO Imports P/L is not responsible for packages lost in transit.
Please include the following information in your package:
1. Your name, return address and telephone number 2. Your Warranty/Return ID - Provided by calling Customer Service on 1300 76 75 21. 3. A brief description of the problem or service you are requesting 4. A copy of the receipt dated within 30 days of your product purchase date.
Refunds
We will issue a full refund for any returned products when your return meets the above requirements. Any goods returned for a refund for any reason other than defective or as a result of our error will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of our error.
Shipping Damage or Missing Parts and Items
In the unfortunate instance that damage to an item occurs during shipping we require notification within 21 days of shipping. We may also request that the item is returned to us or that a digital photograph of the damage is forwarded to us before we release a replacement part / item.
Cancel Order Requests
With any cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process. In the event that the product is shipped, you will be charged for the order. If you wish to cancel your order, contact us ASAP via the details below and quote your order number. Cancelled orders paid for by credit card need to be refunded to the same credit card; you will need to contact us to provide the card details again as no credit card records are kept. The refund transaction is subject to a merchant processing fee of 3% of the total transaction value.
